TPH St. Louis Grows Team and Continues to Strengthen Program with Experienced Leaders
TPH Academy St. Louis is excited to announce the addition of two new members to the team: Ashley Bengtson, Academic Success Coach, and Cody Barra, Player Development Coach and Mentor.
Ashley has close ties to St. Louis, having earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Fontbonne College and Master’s Degree from Lindenwood University, She joins TPH St. Louis with over 30 years of teaching experience, several being in the Francis Howell School District, and certifications in Early Childhood Education (Birth-Kindergarten) and Elementary Education (Grades 1-8.) 
“I am beyond excited to start my teaching experience at TPH Academy,” shared Ashley. “Two of my favorite things in life are teaching and hockey. Imagine being able to combine these two daily to help the students of TPH become the best individuals they can be both on and off the ice! The students, parents, and I will start by creating positive relationships that will last a lifetime.”
Cody Barra also joins the St. Louis team with close ties to the City. Cody is currently the Director of Hockey for the St. Peters Hockey Club, and is a former player for the University of Lindenwood. Over the past three years, Cody was an integral part of the Chicago Reapers AAA program, developing and coaching players of all ages across the Tier 1 program.
“We are excited to have Cody back home in St. Louis, and look forward to the impact he will have on our student-athletes on and off the ice,” shared TPH St. Louis Director Philip McRae.
