About Scott Munroe

Scott Munroe, a native of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, is a Player Development Coach & Mentor at the TPH Center of Excellence in Phoenix. Munroe has a tremendous amount of experience as both a player and a coach. Munroe played four years in the crease for the University of Alabama in Huntsville. In 2003, he backstopped the Chargers to a College Hockey America regular-season championship. Following college, Munroe spent eight seasons in the American Hockey League with the Philadelphia Phantoms, Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, Adirondack Phantoms, and Springfield Falcons. Munroe also spent one season in the Kontinental Hockey League and a season in the Swedish Hockey League. As a coach, Munroe has served as a development and goaltending coach in the QMJHL with the Moncton Wildcats and an assistant coach in NCAA-III with Trinity College.
